Perfect Hunting Tent.

Post by TradbowInOregon on Thu Jan 05, 2012 9:04 pm

I've shared this on another site but, thought you folks would like to see it here. This is called a Miners tent and is built to withstand winds and rain. Tent size is 8.6 X 8.6 X 8. It is waterproof and mildew resistant. Tent sets up in a matter of a couple minutes. Stake out the sides and stand up pole and your done. It is made by Beckel Canvas out of Portland, Oregon and used by a lot of the river runners here for its durability and ease of use. I will be using mine this 2012 hunting season.

kool tent. I like them old Army pop tents or shelter half tents. It's a 2 man tent, But I have used it just for Me. This way I have some room for gear and bow/arrows. If there will be someone else then My big 2 room tent w/screen tent.

I do need a new Army pop tent...

One more feature of this tent is that depending on the area I hunt, I can maximize inside space by just tying the top to an overhead branch and not use the pole.

Where do you find the Army pop tents?

The only thing I would add to that tent is some kinda cover to keep water out when the door is opened. Other than that looks good.

Yes, I think an awning of some sort would be a great addition also.
