Pulled 4 off of me today. Does anyone have a good method of tick prevention?

I ordered a big bottle of "Sawyer Permethrin Insect Repellent" on amazon, and found a small bottle at walmart. I sprayed it on my clothes, let them dry and no ticks after a scouting trip today. In this case 0 is greater than 4, so two thumbs way up for Sawyer's! Thanks for the advice.

I've been using sawyers for years. Great stuff. It lasts a long time, and is odorless, remaining active even after getting soaked in the rain, or washing your clothes a dozen times. I'll treat 2 sets of clothes before hunting season opens, and it lasts long enough that I wont get ticks at all, until the cold weather kills them off.

If you want to save a few bucks, you can go to Tractor Supply (or any other farm store probably) and buy a bottle of Premethrin 10. It's designed for spraying cattle or barns, dogs too. It's 10% premethrin. Mix it with 20oz of water in a spray bottle and it's the same as what you buy in the spray cans at a lot less the price. I use that in turkey season and no ticks at all.
