First Blood 2013

Post by SlowBow on Thu Sep 12, 2013 1:41 pm

If you follow my project, Camochair Productions on facebook, you know I have been filming a video with tips and tactics for treestand placement on public hunting areas since a fellow asked if I could do that last year. I chose an area I had never hunted before, and started from scratch with post season scouting. Today was the first day I have been able to hunt this year, and I climbed into my stand before daybreak, and managed to finish that video with a really nice 18 month old doe! Keep your eyes on www.camochairproductions.com or the Camochair facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Camochair-Productions/168714883189003?ref=hl , I'll post that video as soon as I get time to edit it!

Funny you should say that, it is very close to what I say as I end the video.

She was a nice doe, went 85 lbs dressed, I guess she could have been 2 and 1/2, fairly average size for does here with all the agriculture, they feed well. Not really worth the price to pull a molar and have it age verified though. Just happy to have her in the freezer!
