Acorn alternatives??

Post by Collegehuntermn on Tue Oct 28, 2014 2:01 pm

We had a bad acorn crop in northern mn, what other food sources do I need to look for? Right now I'm relying on ditches and trails for most of my hunts but looking for more variety

Apples, Persimmons, Natural browse and BEDDING. If you know where a deer is bedding and you know where a deer is feeding even if they are feeding on private land you can set up between them and catch them headed to bed in the morning and to the food in the evening.
