Hey from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma

Post by Buffrider on Wed Jul 04, 2012 12:48 pm

Hey I'm Jeremy. I'm 26 married with a one year old daughter. I've been hunting for about 2 years now and just started bows about 3 months ago. I own a #40 1954 ben Pearson takedown, a #50 samick sage, and a 1990s Pearson Spoiler Plus compound. I shot my first deer, a 9 point buck, last year with a 22-250 and now own a savage axis .243. I plan to hunt with both bow and gun. I really want to get good enough with my recurve but till then I have my compound. I really like this sport and want to get some good tropheys.
I'm also a God fearing, faith believing, spirit filled, Christ follower and am so happy bout it. I live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma just outside of tulsa and am looking for hunting buddies around me. I'm want to learn all I can about this awesome sport so I will be looking all over this site for info. Thanks

Very glad to have you, thanks for joining us. You may find particular interest in "THE CROSS ROADS" subforum. I will personally help you any way that I can, with your archery journey, and there are many others here that will do the same.

Help us spread the word about this forum. There are many more like us out there, that I believe will join us. They just have to know that we are here.

Hello. Sure hope you get the chance to break a few arrows putting them through the boiler room this fall!

Well I've never hunted deer on public but I will this year. I went coyote hunting several weeks ago and had large doe come within 10 yards of me.

Sounds like a plan. If you have any questions when you dive into the puiblic land just post them up. Sure someone here will be glad to help.
